Programming With Minecraft or Roblox - Individual Study
Topic:
An individualized method of instruction designed to explore a student’s selected area of interest in Minecraft or Roblox programming. Students will select their own topic of study, then work with staff to create a course plan. Students will have a blast building in the virtual world, while learning real-life STEM concepts in a relatable way at their own pace. Children will stretch their imagination while learning amazing things about the world of computer science, Minecraft, and programming. Together we will build and program the best gadgets the world of Minecraft has to offer!
Prerequisite:
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of the Minecraft environment an advantage, but not a requirement
Required Materials:
Laptop with minimum requirements (Memory: 4 GB RAM) to install and run Minecraft: Java Edition and Discord.
